Stop the Wrist Break When Chipping - Drill 1

We want to promote the proper chipping action, we don't want to be using too much wrist.

I see a lot of people chipping and they try to help the ball up in the air and break their wrist, we don't want this as there is too much room for error.


Here is a good practice drill to stiffen the wrists:

1. Hold the club all the way down the end (see image above)

2. Keep the butt of the club out

3. Practice a big nice swing as if you were putting

This will make it difficult if not impossible to not break your wrist and help you get control of the ball.
