When you're lining up I talk a lot about making sure your club face is at the target
This is what we call 'square club face'
SQUARE CLUB FACE = FACING THE TARGET
If it is going out to the right, it could be that the club face is open
OPEN CLUB FACE = FACING THE RIGHT
Sometimes if you find you're hitting it too far to the left your club face might be a little closed
CLOSED CLUB FACE = FACING THE LEFT
TIP: Put a tee on the grooves on the club face too easily see which way the club face is open.
